PADI Open Water
The PADI Open Water Diver course is the most popular scuba diving course in the world and has introduced millions to the diving lifestyle. This is where it all begins.
The course is designed to help you become a competent and confident diver, learning basic diving theory and mastering essential confined water skills before moving on to open water dives at a variety of dive sites.
With the PADI Open Water Diver certification, you are allowed to dive independently with a buddy to a maximum depth of 18 meters/60 feet.
Prerequisites: Able to swim; medically fit for diving
Total commitment time: 4-7 days
Minimum age: 10 years and over
Depth: includes shallow dives (12 meters/40 feet), maximum depth allowed is 18 meters/60 feet
